The Introverted Evangelist

   "From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah" ( Psalms 61:2-4 )    This human heart - frail and feeble at its best - can only take so much before it needs a rest. Taxing on it is woe and care, often times too much to bear. Strain and stress produce a cry, "Lead me to God! My Rock higher than I!"    This fallen world is fading, but the troubles and affairs increasingly parading. Why have we wandered so far? Oh Lord, we need You! We all need to come running back under the shelter of Your wings. We all are searching for safety, but only You are the One true Strong Tower.    Until our fill is found in You, all humanity is simply empty. We're all hungry for something more, but few know that only You satisfy, oh Lord.    &

   I've come to the conclusion: It does not matter what I accomplish. It only matters what He accomplished for me. I don't have to worry about making a name for myself or a living a life that's opulent. I can be brave in the truth that Jesus's Name is the only Name deserving all glory and honour.    I can press on to attain the home prepared for me in heaven, and this home - eternal home - is more luxurious than anything on earth. It's splendour comes from the Light of His Presence. This home is my hope.    " For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,  teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,  looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,  who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself  His  own special people, zealous for good works." My child, I am not ashamed of you. When I look at you, I don't see your sins, for My blood has cleansed you. When you draw near to Me, I do not deny you, for I am your Shepherd and I call you unto Me. I have paid much too great a price for you to live in misery and shame. I went to the ultimate extreme to see you free. Embrace My love for you, and proclaim that you are wholly Mine. None can separate you from My love. My love finished the work, My love destroyed the barrier, and My love continually intercedes on your behalf. I purchased you! I redeemed you! I defend you! I am for you! Receive My redemptive work. When you live in constant assurance of who you are in Me, nothing could ever touch the joy that radiates from you. Thirsty Soul Finds Father: Wisdom is greater than knowledge. Faith in my God is of more importance than frets of the future. God's timing is much more reliable than that of my own. The days that seem to be wasted in my sight don't go unnoticed by the Lord. Time spent in His Presence is more valuable than hundreds of thousands of precious gems. How much more valuable then is it to spend my time with Him than to spend it any other way? Time in His Presence, time in His Word. How I long to know my Lord. So I'll keep calling, calling to Him. He hears me, He sees me, and He's setting me free. Daily, hourly, I call on Thee, and every moment in between.
