I really enjoyed reading your thoughts. Have an incredibly blessed day! :)Claire Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10226112403235405498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3968690443072419835.post-31172344537293235562014-08-12T19:06:22.115-07:002014-08-12T19:06:22.115-07:00Good thoughts on this matter. It's interesting...Good thoughts on this matter. It's interesting how these people will get star struck so soon. They need to place their star struck attitude in the closet, in the trunk, in the glove compartment and go through the experience that will glorify God.

I am glad you emphasized on doing right for the glory of God. Some people have failed to recognize this as a key integer. So many people will strive to kiss up to other people, but true joy, true peace, true love comes through striving to touch the heart of God. People will be like, "Oh, I'll do good when there is an audience," but what about when there is no audience? People should instead strive to please God.

So, yes, it should be less of me and more of God . . . but, if you read in between the lines of these scriptures, when it's all said and done, it will be none of me and all of God. That is where God wants us to be. After all, as the saying goes, "When you are down to nothing, God is up to something."

In fact, I was taught that when God looks at you, he does not want to see you, but rather, God wants to see himself in you . . . we should strive to become a reflection of God so that when God looks at us, it is like God is looking at himself in the mirror, so to speak.

Bishop TD Jakes on his sermon, The Power of a Thought, he dissected Romans 8:28 in a way that blew my mind. He emphasized the fact that we are called according to God's purpose and not our purpose. When we start walking in God's purpose, that is when we experience the true blessings of God in our lives.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
