The Promise of His Love

We live in a fallen world. Because we live in a fallen world, it can be difficult to hear the gentle whispers of the Holy Spirit. When this is the case, it's imperative that we simply remember the guarantee that He is unchanging and always with us.

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ. And so through him the 'Amen' is spoken by us to the glory of God." (2 Corinthians 1:20)

We feel lost and abandoned, but we must remember that we will always and forever be found in Christ, and we are adopted into the royal family of our Lord. He cleansed us, and sealed us with these promises.

Certainty isn't something this world can provide for us, but there is complete assurance in the Lord. He is that Solid Rock upon which we boldly stand. It is in the God of Peace we shall root ourselves, and believe that He will never permit our feet to slip. This is His promise to us - that we might never be removed from His Love. We won't ever be removed from that perfect Love of God.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)

I pray that this little reminder of encouragement has given you a new hope. May your soul find ultimate joy and peace in this incredible truth that is the unfailing character of our Lord Jesus Christ. Come to the Throne and offer up your uncertainty in exchange for His unshakable mercy, peace, and His pure promise of that unconditional Love. May His Love be a comfort to you. God bless each and every one of you.
