Christ Died for Us

"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly." (Romans 5:6)

The love of God is so perfect and pure that, while we were so dead in sin, He gave His spotless Lamb to redeem us. The blood of the Lamb of God saved us and gave us hope. Our salvation in Jesus Christ is the hope that's in our hearts forever.

"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus," (Ephesians 2:4-6)

Victory in Christ is completely secured for those who love Him. How we love our Lord, and we glorify the wonders of His works.

He loves us unconditionally, for He has shown us great mercy like no other by the sacrifice of His perfect Son. The perfect Lamb of God, the One who defeated death once and for all, has freely shown us love and mercy.

"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:37-39)

This love and mercy that compelled our compassionate Father in Heaven to take action and save His children can never be removed from us. Peace is discovered within, because the Word of God assures us of His never ending love.

It is written that no thing coul ever cause God's love to be removed from us, His children. The ones who believe and have faith in the Lord will live to see His glory. There will come a day when all else fades away, and when only the magnificence of our Savior Jesus remains and reigns. Only He remains, only He reigns.

Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40)

Secure your soul in His mighty hands, and you shall live with Him for all of eternity. I can't think of anything better than spending all of eternity with the Prince of Peace, Lord of Love, and God of all Comfort.

An everlasting communion of compassion with Christ, peace surpassing all understanding, and the Love of God that has been planted inside our hearts grows uncontrollably. This is what our lives look like when we are submitted to Christ. Our lives reflect the love and compassion of Christ when we decide to be His.

The beauty of His love is infinite, and it may seem difficult to grasp, but you need not fret, for God has made the ultimate sacrifice to rescue the ones He loves so dearly.

Jesus, the Lamb of God, Love's pure Light, He was the final sacrifice. Final meaning there is no need to be punished or to work to repay your sins. Not only is there no need, but you can't repay your transgressions. Neither harm nor works can get you into Heaven, remember, only Christ can do that, and, He's already done it!

Our part now is simply to receive the ultimate gift from God, and to say yes to all He has done. This gift cannot be earned, because we could never be righteous enough to deserve it. But isn't that the beauty of His mercy? Yes, Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and that's how we know His love will never end.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

This is the anchor for our souls, the hope for all humanity, and the joy that's in our hearts. Christ died for us, and all you need to do is receive it and live in it.
