Love Never Ends


Love Never Ends:

"Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Oftentimes I find myself standing still, eyes shut tight, and hands spread open wide. In that moment I quiet down every fidgety fret in my mind, breathe deep, and say the words that can calm the most radical storms, "God is here. His love is near. I need not fear."

If I will quickly and quietly whisper to my soul these assuring truths, a multitude of unnecessary hurts can be avoided. It's easy to get lost in the chaos of life, but much more pleasurable to get lost in all the goodness of εν Θεός εκ αγάπη (the God of Love).

"And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him." (1 John 4:16)

God IS Love. The Love that is lavished upon us is the purest, most genuine, and rescuing Love of all loves. This Love has transformed our hearts, and covered over all our sins.

"And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”" (1 Peter 4:8)

The Love of God is passionate, redeeming, renewing, and pursuing. God's Love for us is unfathomable, uncontainable, and no thing can ever snuff out its flame or extinguish its blazing fire.

"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love." (John 15:9)

Jesus beckons us to remain in this Love. To dwell in His everlasting Love means to bring ALL of us under the shelter of His care. This also goes to show that we cannot still try to handle some things on behalf of our own strength. It will tear us apart. Being partially submitted will tug on you from two opposite directions. The world screams, "CONTROL!" while God whispers, "Trust Me." To whom are you choosing to listen?

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved." (Ephesians 2:4-5)

This powerful αγάπη (Love) has made us ALIVE with Jesus. This is the Love that restored righteousness, emptied the tombstones of once-asleep souls, and gave us hope unending.

"so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ" (Ephesians 3:17-18)

Oh how vast His love is for us! There is no end to the mesmerising measure of His mercy and Love!

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

God lavishes us with His Love even when we become lost. The Love of God is so mighty and authoritative over the law of sin, that when released through grace and received by faith into a repentant heart, it completely changes the course of history.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

Once we were slaves to sin and destined to death, but now, by God's glorious grace and Love, we're made righteous by Christ's blood.

We're no longer enslaved to the gruelling grasp of sin. Instead, we are children of the Lord, heirs with Jesus, and on the path to eternal fellowship with εν Θεός εκ αγάπη (the God of Love) Himself!

There are truly no boundaries or limitations on God's Love. Wherever you may be today, He can meet you in that place. Be it desperation, desolation, or even depression. Whatever your circumstance, God will come to you if you simply call out to Him. He longs to shower you in His saving grace and everlasting Love!

"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:13-14)

We are forgiven! The marvellous Love of God knows no end! Rejoice and walk in the hope of this unwavering truth!
