Gaze Gratefully Into His Goodness

Gaze Gratefully Into His Goodness:

"Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name. But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You." (1 Chronicles 29:13-14)

We stand in awe of You, O God. We are filled to overflowing with wonder and thanks. For all that we have has originated from You. Every good thing that makes us smile in our lives has come straight from the nail-scarred hands of generous grace.

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." (James 1:17)

We can trust that You bless the pure in heart, and therefore, by the power of the blood of the Lamb, we are held in this abundant life forever - for all eternity. Now that is truly something for which to give many thanks! We can't help but praise you out of the fullness of joy manifested in our hearts!

I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You. O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix their heart toward You." (1 Chronicles 29:17-18)

Fix our hearts to gaze gratefully into Your goodness and generosity, O Lord. What undeserved blessings You has lavished upon us all. What unprecedented compassion and love You poured out for us. We are truly nothing without You, O God of our salvation. You alone are our everything. In You we lack nothing.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5)

It's spectacularly amazing how unsparingly You have given to us all things pertaining to life, godliness, peace, and joy. You have breathed Your Holy Spirit breath in us, giving us life unending.

"A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death." (Romans 8:2 MSG)

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." (2 Corinthians 3:17)

You have personally promised us wonderful gifts and blessings that unwrap more and more with every act of thankfulness. Gratitude is the key to opening the door of ever increasing joy.

"It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night, On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound. For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands." (Psalms 92:1-4)

May we never forget, no matter how barren this current, worldly life may appear to our present-time-bound eyes:

You, Lord, are leading us through luscious gardens of spiritual serenity and prosperity.

Never doubt or dismiss the glorious riches of this fellowship with the Holy One. This gift contains far deeper depths of wonder, and immensely higher heights of glory.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake." (Psalms 23:1-3)

Come, and let us offer up to the Lord our most exuberant gratitude and exceeding joyfulness. Come and enter into His courts with prolific praise and triumphant thanks. Come, oh come with me, and let us adorn Him in our worshipping.

"Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations." (Psalms 100:1-5)

Hallelu YAH! We shall forever praise You, O Heavenly Father. See our willing hearts, we have come here to freely offer up our thanks. Feel our hungry souls. We yearn for You alone. We long to bring You all honour and glory. We bless Your Holy Name, both now and for all of eternity. Thank You, Father, thank You.
