Rise Up

Rise Up:

"But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

Wait on God, and you will surely witness His astonishing faithfulness. Wait on His timing, for He is never late and never early. Wait in peace, peace that is secured in His unsurpassable mercy. Wait for the Lord, for He is working for our good.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose...What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:28, 31)

He is for us, and that's enough. He is on our team! Doesn't that excite you? It excites me! In fact, when I read the words, and proclaim it, "God is for me! He's for me and not against me!" I begin to feel His wondrous power rest upon me.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit." (Proverbs 18:21)

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

These verses just seem to exhort, "Rise up! Get out there and be confident in the power, love, grace, and favour of your Lord! He has given you blessing upon blessing, therefore go and bring others into the light as well!"

I don't want to live selfishly. It is disobedient and selfish to keep the goodness of God a secret. God wants His wonders and glories to be known to all - all! This call is not exclusive to only the "good" humans, or the wealthy people. It only takes a little faith to get up and go, so why not start today - right where you are. People everywhere need the Love of Jesus Christ!

All it takes is the turning of your own head to the Heavens and saying, "Thank You my Lord. I do not deserve one bit of this grace You've shown me. How marvellous You are! I can't help but declare Your goodness!"

Uncontainable joy is the start of rejuvenating revolutions. We love to be refreshed in His mercy, and live out the great pleasure that it brings with hands stretched open wide ready to share the gifts with those around us. True living is real loving on display for those who need to see the joy of the Lord manifested in the lives of others.

"And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him." (1 John 4:16)

What this verse is saying is that when the revelation - the life changing realisation - of God's immaculately miraculous love dawns on us, our hearts change for the better. It's as though the coldest of winter has finally melted away into the delightful warmth of a spring breeze inside our hearts. God breathes His love over us, and we feel the urges to love more and more multiplying within our very own hearts.

We are lured to live a life of love.

Don't just sit around today letting that compulsion go unsatisfied. Rise up! Rise up and join hands with the Holy Spirit today! Allow God to use you as a factor in changing someone's heart. Let God use you as a tool to bring every broken heart back to Him, so that His astounding love may be felt by all.

May His love be felt in greater frequency throughout all the earth. May His mercy be received to cover over every fallacy. May His grace flood the souls of the hungry people, and His Holy Name be worshipped in adoration.

"that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:10-11)

His glory shall be known in all the earth. Rise up! Live a life that honours Him NOW, not just in the hour of His coming. Live a life that reflects His great love, so that others may come to bow at His gracious Throne as well. Rise up my friends! Rise up to give HIM the glory and praise due to His Name!
