Merry Christmas

As we enter into the holiday season it's easy to become whirled up in Christmas commotion, so it is indeed very important that we take a moment to remember the true meaning of this joyous holiday.    Jesus, our Emmanuel, born on Christmas day. Born to give us freedom, hope, and everlasting life in Heaven above. The King of kings and Lord of lords; the ultimate gift. How awe-inspiring He is! How gracious is He to become flesh like us so that we might become His righteousness. He humbled Himself, and was born of a virgin; a miracle! Mary, the young virgin, carried our savior into the world. Our Savior who was born to die for us all. "the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”" (Luke 1:28)    Glory, glory, hallelujah! May the name of the Lord be lifted high across the nations! May His goodness endure forevermore! Praise be to the God of the universe!    God bless you and your family this Christmas. I pra

The Voice of Truth

Do you hear a voice inside your head denouncing your every fault, or do you hear a Voice that enlightens your perspective? A voice of condemnation or freedom? Listen closely to what you hear. The Voice of the Lord is soft, peaceful, and powerful, but the lies of the enemy are harsh, reprimanding, and admonishing. The Lord fills you with an everlasting joy and serenity, whereas the enemy only lies and destroys. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."    Remember to call upon the Name of the Lord in every situation, for He has the power to save you. Cry out to Him when you are weary. Sing songs of praise for Him when you are untroubled and beaming. Allow the Lord to be the center of your life, and always keep your eyes on Him.    "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory f

Filled With The Holy One

When we pray we are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." (Jude 1:20, 21 NKJV)

Forgiveness.

If someone wrongs you, give him grace. The Lord forgave us all our debt (the debt we could never, ever pay), therefore we are called to forgive others freely. We have the choice not to bring it up again. Let it go. Release it.

Couture Collections: Casual Autumn Coziness

Image
The look is simple and understated; ideal for Autumn. It's subtle yet playful. It gives you the impression of "full fledged fall". First a colour-block sweater paired with long flannel trousers, then a hint of sophistication with some Marc Jacobs Slips and a fun, polka-dotted Kate Spade bag. Next thing you know, you're ready for the Fall festivities and New York street style, enjoy!     -T.I.E.

Thirst No More

When everything around you is in complete uproar and peace is not in your grasp, that's when you call on the Lord. Seek his abundant mercy in times of numbness and agony. Do not allow the world's hectic environment to cloud your mind. Remember to keep your eyes lifted up to the One who promises abundance of joy and eternal life. “ But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11)      I wish everyone could experience the vast desire I have for the Presence of the Holy Spirit. Come to the Well with me, for when you drink from the Well your thirst shall be quenched. Satisfaction beyond comprehension will captivate your senses; this giving you the most beautiful feelings of... Joy. You heard me correctly. Joy. Peace. Serenity. All those things you have been so desperately longing to feel flood your soul. Your cup r

There is No Power in Hell

Look fear directly in the eyes and say, "My God is greater than you, satan. My God is stronger than you. My God is bigger than you. Whom then shall I fear? Certainly not you. Get behind me in the name of Jesus!". Philippians 2:10-11 says, “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”    Isn't it great to know that no one, not even the devil, can stand in the powerful Presence of the Lord. The Lord is the ruler over all the nations. There is nothing more powerful than the Word of God. Nations fear and kingdoms praise. He is the King that gave us life. He is worthy of our praise forever!

The Sword of Scripture

When Jesus was out in the wilderness and the enemy tried to tempt Him, Jesus would rebuke the temptations with God's Word. "It is written..." Jesus chose to use the Sword of Scripture, because God gave us the exact same weapon to fight off the devil's temptations. Jesus used the devil's temptations as a way to teach us how to protect ourselves from the enemy.    So next time you feel tempted or under attack, call on the Lord and pull out the Word. Matthew 4:10 says, "Jesus said to him, “Go away, Satan! Scripture says, ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.’”"    May the power of the Living God dwell within you. Remember the fight has already been won, and we are victorious by the blood of the Lamb. We can rejoice with songs of triumph and delight, because in Him we are more than conquerors.        -The Introverted Evangelist.

Ambassadors for Christ

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:20-21)      Come, let us shout it out! I am not ashamed ! For the Lord is my saving grace, and I take refuge in Him. There is certainly no amount of darkness that can dim the glorious light of the Lord. He is the Almighty creator of the universe; He defeated the grave! What joy I feel when I'm reminded of just how powerful and strong my Lord and Savior is, and how much He loves me. He cares for me with His gentle touch. I hear His heartbeat and experience peace, even when the storm around me is raging with fury. Embrace the warmth of His Presence. Seek Him. Speak to Him; He's always listening. His love is freely given !      Once you have come to know His abundant love and mercy, you will be ab

Starting Today

Today I wake, and I see the outstretched road before me. I know the road is treacherous, and I know that I am frail. Any other would hide, but I choose to expose myself to the One who takes my fear and turns it into irrefutable faith. When I'm at my weakest, if I call on the Lord, He will without a doubt come to me. "Save me, O God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your strength." (Psalm 54:1 NKJV). In Matthew chapter 14 Jesus spoke to the disciples, saying to them, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid." Peter responded, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." (Matthew 14:28 NKJV). So the Lord called Peter to come, and he stepped out into the water and began walking towards Jesus. But when Peter was reminded of the raging storm on the water, he began to sink. In desperation Peter cried out to Jesus, "Lord, save me!"  Verse 31 says, "And immediately Jesus stretched out  His  hand and caught him,". H

Needing to be Rescued

I've fallen to my knees. My lungs can hardly breathe. There is nothing that can satisfy me except for You, Lord. Come and rescue me from the grasp of darkness. Come hold me in Your living arms.

Rejuvenated

Rejuvenated. "When we talk and we’re all alone, I feel His gentle heartbeat. It is the most reassuring melody for my shaken spirit. The love of Jesus Christ. Intimately pure and holy. Revival for my once sorrowful soul." - The Introverted Evangelist
