The Lord Walks With Me : " For the LORD your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory! " (Deuteronomy 20:4) You're constant,  constant above the chaos of the corruption  of this world. You are faithful,  faithful through my fears  that attempt to chain me up and imprison me.  You're with me , with me through the winds that want to weather me down into a withered, worried mess.  I'm running to you , though my legs are weak and breaking beneath the weight of this burden. I'm lifting my hands to Your heavens. Through it all,  I will choose to worship You  still. Through it all, I will bless Your holy Name. Through it all,  I will trust that Your plan is best. Your Perfect Love Displaces Fear : Love. At the very core of my being, Lord, may Your matchless love be planted in my soul. May the roots of Your truth extend down into the soil, deeper and deeper,  penetrating any strongholds of doubt or distress . May Your love begin to  displace distrust ,  annihilate anxiety , and restore to me a renewed sense of  faithful courage . Help me to know the truth that You are the Lord of Love, not of confusion and deceit.  You're not trying to lure me into believing false realities . You long to make known to me the utter freedom of running out of the chains of fear-fraught thinking. You want to rescue my mind from this prison of poisonous lies. My Peaceful Provider : " The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. " (Psalms 23:1-2) Lately, the Holy Spirit has really been speaking deep into my heart about this particular passage of Scripture. Psalms 23, a classic isn't it? But we mustn't allow the genuineness of this miraculous truth to slip past us on the slopes of familiarity. A truth and promise this divine is not meant to  merely braise our fears  with faith,  but strike them  right in the very core of their sources,  penetrating and paralyzing them once and for all ! It must become a  daily   proclamation  in order for it to become a  spiritual   manifestation . The Road Leads Home, I Shall Not Fear : " Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You. " (Psalms 143:8) When the path ahead of me looks  daunting ,  icy - cold anxieties frozen over a ghastly tundra ? Pull me into Your warm and welcoming Presence. I can't face these fears with my own strength, for apart from You I am nothing but a fearful, panicked mess.  I need Your wings to cover me .  I need Your hands to guide me .  I need Your peace to quiet me . We Need Your Love : Father, I pray Your  Great Will  be done in all the earth. I trust that  You love me . I trust that  You're on my team . I trust that  You've not forgotten  about me. I am confident  You can see my heart  so willing and yearning to serve Your Kingdom. I love that  You listen  to my prayer, and  You listen to my heart  even when I can't find the words to speak. So, kneeling here  I will declare that You, my God, You truly care . Fear Freeing:   "Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved." (Psalms 55:22)   "casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)   There's a whole lot of disquieting troubles going on these days. It's very easy and common to become entangled in fear-knots. Yes these disturbing events are real as day, but our God is so much more than them. The certainty of our God's power, authority, and sovereignty must become a shield of comforting courage to each and every one of us, especially when all the world around us is in utter turmoil and upheaval.   "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Fear Has to Leave: "For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”" (Romans 8:15) Abba, Father! My spirit within me wails to be consoled. I plead for peace. My heart is overwhelmed, but I confess that fear must leave. Anxiety tries to overthrow me, but I whisper, "The Lord is with me wherever I go." "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10) You are upholding me, Lord. You won't allow the destructive distresses to destroy me. Fear Not: "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Do Not Fear for I AM With You: "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, through the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though it's waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah" (Psalms 46:1-3) Fear is our enemy. Fear restricts, constrains, and kills. Fear kills the hope of joy, and extinguishes the flame of faith. Fear is not welcome. After all, God hasn't given us a spirit of fear. He gives us His Holy Spirit full of love to cast out every fear. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7) "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.
