Rest in Him

Rest in Him : " In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in  safety  and  confident trust . " (Psalm 4:8) When you're  still and surrendered , the quietness of My Presence can settle over you, settling every one of your distressing fears. My love will quiet all the accusatory voices that haunt you, and My joy shall shine pure light on all the lies keeping your mind in a dark prison.  My holy fire is coming down in glorious light to set you free and burn away fright . " The light shines in the darkness, and  the darkness can never extinguish it . " (John 1:5) When you're feeling too weary to carry on, come to Me and bring those heavy burdens too.  I will carry you as well as care for every one of those concerns . No matter how great your fears appear to be, there is not one single thing too difficult for Me. " Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm.  ...

It's The Most Wonderful Time of Year

It's The Most Wonderful Time of Year : " And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth ." His name is so beautiful, and I love the way it's the very forefront of this season. The Holy and exalted Name above all names belonging to our Lord headlines this holiday:  it's CHRIST-mas ! How splendid indeed! I also just adore the fitting manner in which we celebrate His birth. This whole entire season is  brimming with e...

(Philippians 4:8) Every single day we're faced with hundreds of choices. We can choose to believe the lies we hear snickering in our ears by the adversary, or we can meditate on things that God says are true of us. We can focus on all the atrocious things of this world, or we can choose to dwell on the lovely and pure qualities of our Lord. We have a choice to make everyday. "See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction." (Deuteronomy 30:15) Dwelling on lies, impurities, and abominable accusations only leaves us dry and even more thirsty than ever before. This is primarily why Paul exhorts us in Philippians 4 to meditate on pure and praiseworthy thi...
