"The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace."
If someone wrongs you, give him grace. The Lord forgave us all our debt (the debt we could never, ever pay), therefore we are called to forgive others freely. We have the choice not to bring it up again. Let it go. Release it.
I Loved You at Your Darkest: "While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don't be afraid.” When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus." (Matthew 17:5-8) In the first few verses of Matthew chapter seventeen, Jesus led Peter, James, and John up to a mountain top. It was just the four of them, or so the disciples thought. Whilst they were walking Jesus was "transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light." (Matthew 17:2) Today, this passage is really speaking to me. I feel like the Lord is using this passage as a reminder that sometimes we must fall "facedown on the ground" in complete awe of His glory and surrender to His mysterious yet miraculous ways. At …
Rise Up and Pray: "At last he stood up again and returned to the disciples, only to find them asleep, exhausted from grief. “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation.”" (Luke 22:45-46) Don't give in to all the grief. Rise up and pray in the power of the Holy Spirit! Don't become so worn and weary from the battles surrounding you that you throw in the towel and call it quits. Instead, call on God! Pray relentlessly because He's not left your side. His ear is still tuned to your cry. He's not going to stop fighting for you. Be still, call upon His Name, then you will receive peace, joy, and a renewed hope once again. This battle may not be over yet, but I can assure you: the victory is already won and we are triumphant!

In Your Presence, Lord, I find peace. I find safety in Your mighty arms. I'm completely satisfied by You, my God. You know everything about me, and yet You still love me with Your perfect, unfailing, everlasting love.
Within me I feel a burning passion to be with You. The fire has blazed for all my life. Ever since I can remember I've longer for this fellowship with my Savior. You're the only One for me, Jesus.
When everyone else left me, You never did. When all hope seemed lost, you gave me a renewed purpose. I know that in all things You are for me.
"When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me." (Psalms 56:9)
In all circumstances You give me joy. In every way You show me mercy. So for all my days, and every breath I take, I will worship You.
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righ…
