Jesus Paid it All - Once and For All

   "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)


   Everything we work for in strife to be "good enough" is an effort that has wasted our energy. Energy we could be using to worship God and offer thanks to Him. We need not tirelessly toil, for Jesus wore the filth of our humanity. Jesus buried the bitter shame and deeds of darkness, and He resurrected with victory and healing in His wings! Let His pure healing heal your feelings of unworthiness. Let His victory triumph over your supposed need to work for acceptance. God's already accepted you as you are, because Jesus - the Spotless Lamb of God - already paid our redemption fee. He snatched us out of the enemy's slave market, and swept us away from danger. Praise the Son of God! He has set us free!

"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture." (Malachi 4:2)

"I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture." (John 10:9)

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

Faith That He is Near Always

   One, of many things, for which I am very  grateful, is that the Lord is always near me. He is never far away. I can call on Him through prayer, and He will always listen. He genuinely cares for what I am worried about. No prayer is too small or unimportant, because we are God's children and He loves us all.    Call upon the Lord in times of need, and in times of joyfulness. He wants to commune with us. He desires our yearning for His presence. When we're longing for that "something more" He is the One that can satisfy. He is gentle and loving. He wants to be with you more than you can even imagine.    "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth." ( Psalm 145:18 ) It pleases Him when we reach out to Him in desperation. Because He is The Creator of all things that exist, when He is our passionate desire, When He is the One thing we need , that's when we are complete. That is when we have peace, joy, and abundant life.
