We Are Forgiven


We Are Forgiven:

"Who is a God like You, Who forgives iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retains not His anger forever, because He delights in mercy and loving-kindness. He will again have compassion on us; He will subdue and tread underfoot our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea." (Micah 7:18-19 AMP)

O Heavenly Father, there truly is none like You. You're so gracious, so merciful and true. You deal justly with us, yet You deal tenderly with us too. You have exchanged our records of grime and guilt for the pure, blameless record of Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

Because Jesus lived the perfect life, I don't have to. Because Jesus died the ultimate death that satisfied Your wrath towards sin's horrendous filth, I am forgiven and freed. I am no longer held to that debt. I'm not expected to pay even a fraction of that enormous price. Jesus, You paid it all. You have cleansed me with Your healing, redeeming blood. You are our ransom, our atonement, and our joyful hope.

Because of God's great and immeasurable love for us, You humbled Yourself to a servant's position - the lowest of lows. You took the beating and shaming that should've been on us. By Your great grace, we're cut free from the chains of our old life of sin and darkness. Now we walk in glorious light, life, and the beautiful righteousness of Christ. Nothing hinders the magnificent magnitude of our forgiveness in You, because nothing hinders the unending, unfailing, glory of Your perfect love. We're made completely new creations in You, and we are one-hundred-percent forgiven and free!

Faith That He is Near Always

   One, of many things, for which I am very  grateful, is that the Lord is always near me. He is never far away. I can call on Him through prayer, and He will always listen. He genuinely cares for what I am worried about. No prayer is too small or unimportant, because we are God's children and He loves us all.    Call upon the Lord in times of need, and in times of joyfulness. He wants to commune with us. He desires our yearning for His presence. When we're longing for that "something more" He is the One that can satisfy. He is gentle and loving. ( Psalm 145:18 ) It pleases Him when we reach out to Him in desperation. Because He is The Creator of all things that exist, when He is our passionate desire, When He is the One thing we need , that's when we are complete. That is when we have peace, joy, and abundant life.
