Victorious Love and Saving Grace

Victorious Love and Saving Grace:

"For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life." (John 3:16 AMP)

Love, not law, has won. Grace, not guilt, is the gift of Salvation that saves us all. Faith, not fear, is what flourishes life everlasting. The immense love of the Father is our eternal victory. There is hope for all ages, triumph for every nation, and healing for each soul, because in Him we're made whole. Salvation's spelled out in blood-stained agony there on the Cross. It seemed like hope was lost, but it's from the darkest grave He rose again in glorious light.

"But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:4-7)

We don't have to live this life afraid! We have an eternal promise of tomorrow - a Home and Hope that cannot be deteriorated. We're secure in His love, lead out by His faithfulness, and guided by His grace. Nothing can hold us back now; we're walking out our orders from the King of Kindness and Mercy. We're ready to radically LOVE (see 1 Peter 4:8)!

"But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the centre of God’s love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!" (Jude 1:20-21 MSG)

Take a moment to just breathe that in... This is our everyday (and forevermore) reality! This gracious goodness lavished upon us undeserving, filthy, stained sinners has completely done away with all our old putrescence. No longer are we festering in sinful destruction, rotting away more and more each day from the abhorrent habits that used to consume us. Now we have stepped into His light. We now lead a new life. But really, it's not us who lead it, it's Him - the Holy One. We now walk this road in righteous robes, clothed in His splendour and Salvation. We can sing a new song, for the life He has won, lasts for all eternity long.

Thank You Jesus! We praise and honour You for the immeasurable sacrifice You gave to cleanse us, restore us, and give us a future of unimaginable hope! Thank You that even though this life is so uncertain and full of fear evoking contingencies, Your love will lead us through. You're the shining star of bright eternal light, and You will faithfully lead us through the darkest night.

Yes, life is uncertain, but God remains the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. His love lasts throughout all eternity, and His grace is readily available in our time of need - all we must do is receive.
