Let Me Redeem Your Rejection

Let Me Redeem Your Rejection:

"Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant." (Galatians 1:10)

People have an undeniable tendency to leave us feeling empty and unsatisfied. Time and again, people will forget, people will say the wrong things, and it hurts us.

People cannot fit the bill for what only God can fulfil.

Others will reject us, judge us, and give up on us, but God never will. God will never leave us bruised and broken in heart the way fellow humans often do.

"He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. Finally he will cause justice to be victorious." (Matthew 12:20)

People don't see what God sees. God looks into the deepest depths of our hearts and souls. The Lord sees a great potential that blossoms only from the gracious goodness He has planted in surrendered soul soil. It does not matter how rejected you are in the world's eyes. God does not require beauty or fame or riches. He doesn't measure potential or value in the same manner as the world.

"Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7)

We may very well be invisible to the jaded eyes of this world. However in God's eyes, we are treasuressacred vessels, and His own. God searches the earth for surrendered hearts.

"The Father who sent me is in charge. He draws people to me—that’s the only way you’ll ever come. Only then do I do my work, putting people together, setting them on their feet, ready for the End." (John 6:44 MSG)

If you feel knocked down by the unruly standards of this fallen world, take heart. The One who sees your heart and knows your Kingdom-set desires will lift you up and place you on the solid, secure ground of grace. If the world has placed labels and restrictions on you, come lay them down at the foot of His Throne of Mercy. He is able. Whatever the world has done to strew your hope around in the dirt, God is greater. He is our faithful Redeemer. Always remember that: HE is greater than even the most powerful rulers in this world. All is but a breath in view of His healing sovereignty.

God will take all the filthy shame of the rejection you feel and restore it for a resurrected joy and purpose. There is no worldly restriction too great for His mighty redemption. Take all this pain, lay it at His feet. Take all this shame, release it into His compassionate hands. Let His unshakable favour cover over you this day.
