Reach for the Stars

Reach for the Stars:

"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?" (Psalms 8:3-4)

He is come, for the Lord God Almighty One took on the role of a Child - a Servant even unto the sentence of sin's death price. And here He comes now...

"I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star... And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely." (Revelation 22:16, 17)

A starry night's jubilee burns bright; the Saviour, our long awaited Christ. Oh Holy Messiah, You are a shining Star in this world so strayed far. We yearn for You... Up 'till Your debut, the hope we sought 'twas skew. Then You came down, so gentle and mild, for all mankind now reconciled.

The glorious night You came down and touched our broken state, Your restoring glory illumined our fallen fate. How gloriously You've healed our hurting hearts.

Now we raise our hands as we praise Thee, joyful and triumphant, our hope for all eternity. Our hearts shall forever reach up toward Thee... You shine brighter than all other stars in the sky. You're our desire, the Light that radiates our life now and forevermore... Hallelujah! What a Merry Christmas indeed!
